New individual insurance, mandatory, in favor of workers in the private sector with contracts subject to the Labor Code and who are carrying out their work in person, in whole or in part. The duration of this insurance will be one year from its respective contracting.
Who should hire? It will be the employer’s obligation to contract this insurance for his collaborators. </ P>
What does it cover? (1) Health Coverage: Hospitalization and rehabilitation expenses charged to the worker, associated with the COVID-19 disease. (2) Life Coverage: Fonasa Affiliates groups B-C-D, Isapre Affiliates, provided that the insured is treated in the Network of Providers for Additional Coverage for Catastrophic Illnesses (CAEC)
Term to Hire? The employer will have 30 calendar days from the time the policy is incorporated into the CMF Depository
